Location: On the eastern wall of the northwest supporting pillar.

Material: Marble surface, 6th century.

Dimensions: Height 10 cm, length 19 cm, at 150 cm from the floor level.

Condition: Shallow, clearly carved, not intersected by others.

Technique: Incised.

Description: The oared ship is drawn in profile, facing right. The hull is elongated with a low deck, depicted with two parallel lines that converge at the front under a slight incline into a barely noticeable spur or speron. The stem rises smoothly with a slight incline and juts above the deck. The rear part is rounded, rising almost vertically and sharply sloping down toward the deck. Six inclined lines represent the oars, with two of them fully formed. They are arranged in a single horizontal row. On the deck, the trunk of the mainmast is visible, with one shroud, and above it, on a slanted yard, an enormous triangular lateen sail is spread out.
